I plugged it in and it worked with all my stuff right away. No weird setup, no fuss. I don't know, it just feels like one of those things you end up really glad you bought.

I swear every time I go to order the things I actually need, they’re already sold out. It gets frustrating after a while, especially when there’s no real update on when it’ll be back. I keep checking, thinking maybe this time... but yeah, still waiting

I like the idea of it, and it works fine most of the time. But the buttons can be kind of frustrating?? Sometimes they don’t respond right away, or I end up pressing twice and waiting a second, which gets annoying when I’m actually using it. It’s not awful or anything, just not as smooth as I expected for the price. Giving it 3 stars for now

It works fine and the setup was easy, so I can’t really complain too much. I’m just not totally sure it feels worth the price, though, I guess I expected a little more for what it costs.

Well... I’ve been impressed with how cool my Elgato gear stays, even after longer streams. I haven’t had any weird overheating issues so far, and I’m really happy with it.

The Elgato gear itself is fine, like it works and all, but the mounting situation was kind of a pain for my desk. I thought it would be easier to just put it where I needed, especially for the price, but nope. I ended up trying extra clamps and moving things around a bunch, and even after all that it still feels awkward. Maybe it works better on a different setup, but for mine it just wasn’t great

It’s been decent overall, but I did get a little mixed up figuring out which settings I changed and when. The customization is okay, just feels a bit limited in some spots. I kept thinking there were more options at one point, but maybe I’m remembering it wrong. Not bad, just could use a bit more flexibility.

I figured the video quality would be good, and it pretty much proved me right. The picture looked solid and I was happy with that part. The only thing that bugged me was the audio dropping out here and there, which is kind of what I expected might happen. Overall, good experience, just not perfect

I really wanted this to work, but the automation setup kept breaking on me. And before anyone says it was probably user error, I followed the steps exactly and still ran into issues. Support didn’t make things any easier either, so the whole experience ended up being way more frustrating than it should’ve been...

The app crashes sometimes, which gets annoying. Updates do usually fix the problem eventually, but having to wait around for a fix every time is frustrating.

It felt cheap right out of the box, and then it stopped working after a short time, lol. I was hoping it would hold up better, but it was disappointing.

I ordered it from Elgato and it show up with no issues. Been using it and the product works great so far. The only small thing was the cable length, it was just barely enough for how my desk is set up. I had to reroute some stuff behind my monitor and it takes a little messing around before it finally fit right. Not a big deal, but I’d definitely check your setup first before placing it. Overall I’m happy with it and would buy it again.

I picked up some Elgato gear from elgato.com, the thing I’ve appreciated most is that it doesn’t seem to drag my PC down at all.

I’ve been using it while streaming and recording with a few other apps open, and my CPU and RAM usage still stay reasonable. So far, I haven’t had any weird lag or my fans suddenly sounding like they’re about to take off.
Setup was straightforward too. I guess the software could maybe be a little more polished in spots, but nothing that really got in the way. For the most part, it just runs quietly in the background and lets me do what I need to do.

I don’t know why, but I really didn’t expect this to need as much desk space as it does. It works fine overall, so no major complaints there, but my desk is already cramped and adding this just made everything feel more cluttered. I had to rearrange a bunch of stuff, and even then I’m still not totally happy with the setup. It’s a good idea, just probably better if you’ve got a bigger desk to work with.

I tried updating the firmware and it froze on me twice, which was frustrating enough. Then the setup got confusing really fast, and I had to keep going back over the same steps like they somehow weren’t clear the first time. I really don’t mind following instructions, but having to repeat and re-explain the process to myself over and over was just annoying

My first impression of Elgato was okay since I was able to find what I needed without much trouble. The site felt easy enough to use at first, but after a bit the slower page loads started to stand out. Checkout also froze on me once, which was frustrating, but the order did go through in the end. Overall, not a bad experience, just not as smooth as I expected from the start

I had a hard time getting it to work at first and ended up having to restart everything twice before it finally behaved. It’s okay now, but for what I paid, I expected the setup to be a lot smoother.

I was trying to compare a few items, but the product pages felt kind of messy. Some listings seemed incomplete, the specs weren’t easy to line up side by side, and a few details looked outdated. i kept thinking, why is this so complicated? It should be much easier to figure out what you’re actually buying

At first glance, it looks clean and nice, so I was hopeful. But once I actually used it, the build felt kind of flimsy and cheaper than I expected. Whoever runs this really needs to pay more attention to the quality, because the design is there but the feel just doesn’t match.

The mobile app connects really fast, which I appreciate, always a plus when something just works. I do wish the settings page loaded a bit quicker though, because it kind of makes me wait around for a second. Not a huge deal, just one of those little things you notice.
